Missing you~

The last couple of days I have been thinking a lot about the loved ones I have lost in the last couple of years. Each one different and hard in its own way. The young the old and both loved by many, many people! It is never easy to say goodbye and just as hard to move on. But we must move on and try our best to not the the grief over take us. We must try and remember all the good times we shared, all the laughter and joy they brought to our lives and share that with those that are still with us.

Broken Chain

(I saw this poem on a picture frame in a magazine)

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.

 It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
