Mount Vernon/Natural Light Family Photographer~ The P Family

This was  a fun session, after many reschedules due to weather we finally got it to work out! Now the Sun was STRONG that day and the little guy here had lots of energy so we just went with the flow. It was so much fun trying to get him to smile and you could just see how much this family loves each other. I hope that love shows through these pictures!!!

Mount Vernon/Natural Light Family Photographer~The Hess Family

No matter how much you plan and prepare for a session, some things can just go wrong...like your camera says you do not have your card inserted, when most certainly i did. I had the 1st half of our session on my card and all the sudden the camera doesn't read it. Hmmm...can you say STRESSED!!! I did realize it in the middle of our session so we repeated a group shot "Thank you mom and dad for coming back out for picture #2 :)"...Just a little shout out!! And i prayed real hard that my card would work when i got home. I must say i was nervous. That was the 1st and, i am sure not the last, time that had happened to me...and of course it would happen with such a wonderful family who was so excited to get their pictures done. So to you i say "THANK YOU for your patience and understanding".
 It was a great pleasure to photograph your family! I hope you enjoyed it as much as i did. Thank you Jennifer for trusting me with your family photos!

The Light

Last night i was cleaning up my kitchen and my boys were playing and laughing by my kitchen window and i just loved how the light looked on their faces. I sat and just watched in awe of the little lives that my husband and I share together. I have always wanted children, I knew from the time I was little that I would be a mommy. My favorite toy was baby dolls. I had a hard time giving them up. I had a baby doll for a long time. I would always imagine that little face looking at me and I would know that they were all mine. I could never have imagined how much love I would have for these little guys!!!! They have my heart in the palm of their hands <3
